Ingredients
2lbbaby carrots
5tbspmaple syrup, or honey
1/2tsponion powder
1tspgarlic powder
1/2tspdried thyme
3tbspolive oil
1/2tspsalt, more or less, to taste
1/4tspblack pepper, more or less, to taste
Garnishment (optional):
freshly chopped thyme
freshly chopped parlsey
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray.
To a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, onion and garlic powder, thyme, olive oil, salt and pepper (season to taste). Mix well.
Add in the carrots and toss to thoroughly coat them. Place the carrots onto the prepared baking sheet. Pour any remaining maple syrup mixture over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until fork tender, stirring at 10 minutes.
Serve warm. Garnish with freshly chopped thyme and parsley.
